FAQ
What is CredentialHive?
CredentialHive is a single place for healthcare providers to store every credential — licenses, certifications, employment history, malpractice info, and documents — once, then reuse it for every credentialing application instead of starting from scratch.
Is my data secure?
Yes. Sensitive fields like your Social Security Number and license numbers are encrypted and masked by default — revealing them takes an explicit action on your part. You control who can see your data, and you can revoke access at any time.
Does CredentialHive make credentialing decisions for me?
No. CredentialHive organizes your information and helps you fill out applications faster. It doesn't replace a hospital's credentialing process or make credentialing decisions on your behalf.
How is this different from CAQH?
CAQH ProView is free, but it only covers payer credentialing, and providers don't own their data there. CredentialHive covers every credentialing context — hospitals, staffing agencies, and payers — and your data stays with you for your whole career, not just for one health plan.
Do I need the browser extension?
No. The Free plan gets you organized with the Document Vault. The browser extension — which autofills credentialing portals directly — is part of Pro, but even without it, Pro lets you copy structured fields straight from your Credential Repository.
Who can see my shared credentials?
Only people you explicitly share with, via a secure Share Link. Recipients verify their identity by email before they can view anything, and you can revoke access at any time.
Why is billing annual instead of monthly?
Credentialing happens around career milestones, not months. Annual billing matches how providers actually use CredentialHive, and it keeps the price meaningfully below what human credentialing services or CAQH management charge per year.
What if I stop paying?
Your Free tier stays active — your Document Vault and Credential Repository remain yours. You'd lose access to Pro or Premium features, like sharing, the extension, and compliance monitoring, until you resubscribe.
